Anaesthesia with a cream is performed before the treatment. Once the anaesthetic is washed off, the treatment begins. The treatment is performed with a head which generates heat and causes micro damage of the skin, aimed at causing regeneration and reconstruction.
Slight swelling remains on the skin for 3-4 hours after the treatment. Erythema and a sensation of heat may develop within 2-3 hours after the treatment. Depending on treatment intensity, the convalescence period may vary from 1 to 4 days. Micro scabs may appear on the following day, which will disappear after app. 3 days. Delicate skin care ought to be performed, avoiding the swimming pool and sauna until complete healing.

The procedure is performed with a cream anaesthetic to minimise pain sensations. Additionally, contact with the skin is so short that the patient should not feel any discomfort, but only warmth at the place where the head touches the skin
