Hydrobalance / Soft Lift involves linear, intradermal and/or subcutaneous administration of hyaluronic acid with the use of a so-called soft cannula with a blunt end. As a result of application with a cannula, vessels and important nerves are not damaged. Use of the "soft lift" technique minimises the risk of adverse effects and gives a natural effect. Hyaluronic acid creates an additional network, a kind of "scaffolding" which prevents development of wrinkles and allows modelling of the facial oval. Due to specific properties of hyaluronic acid, it enables simultaneous improvement of skin condition and hydration.
After the treatment, the preparation acts like a water buffer, absorbing water when the skin is properly hydrated and releasing humidity when the skin needs it, e.g. during hot weather, sunbathing or while staing in dry, air conditioned rooms.
After the treatment, intense sun exposure (sunbed) and heating (sauna) ought to be avoided.
In contrast to the traditional lift, the Hydrobalance / Soft Lift treatment does not cause patients' discomfort connected with pain and treatment. Results are visible immediately and the patient may return to their normal activity right after the treatment.
