Treatment with the Pixel™ laser is recommended for patients who want to refresh their skin and get rid of minor imperfections such as small scars, fine wrinkles, stretch marks and hyperpigmentation spots.
The new technology used by the Pixel™ laser involves replacing a single laser beam with a set of several dozen microbeams with well controlled depth of penetration into the epidermis and dermis. Pixel's matrix has been constructed so as to create a set of points (pixels) - thermal micro injuries - while leaving intact "bridges" of tissue, specific reservoirs of healthy cells which accelerate reconstruction of a given area. Intact skin makes healing after the treatment extremely fast. Short convalescence is also supported by the use of specialised skin cooling equipment. The time required for complete skin regeneration is approximately 28 days.

After the treatment redness of the face appears, which disappears within a few days. For 4 weeks after the treatment the patient should avoid sunlight exposure and use sunscreens.
Neoplastic diseases, diabetes, tendency to hypertrophic scars, taking retinoids, antibiotics, antidepressants or immunosuppressants in the last 6 months, fresh suntan, active infections of the treated skin, active herpes, pregnancy
The treatment is not a pleasant one, so the skin is anaesthetised with a cream before the procedure and cooling is used during it.
